Story/ Concept

Ranitello Panetteria is the beloved bakery of the fictional city Vireto, Italy, known for its signature sourdough made with sap from the rare Ranimollis Florens plant. The sap gives each loaf its unmistakable softness — a texture locals describe as the heart of the city’s baking tradition. As Vireto’s most iconic establishment, Ranitello blends heritage, craft, and community into every loaf, carrying forward a recipe that has shaped the city’s identity for generations.

My goal for this project was to build a bakery identity that felt rooted in the fictional city of Vireto while still carrying the warmth of a real, long‑standing establishment. I created a hand‑typed logo to echo the softness of the bakery’s signature Ranimollis Florens sourdough and focused on developing visuals that felt crafted, local, and tied to tradition. Through typography, illustration, and packaging, I aimed to make Ranitello feel authentic — a place shaped by heritage, community, and the gentle character of its famous bread.
