Reryse is a two‑week festival in the fictional city of Vireto, celebrating transformation and community. It begins with week one, where participants receive a loaf of bread and are invited to reinvent it into something new. In the second week, the Festival Band opens the doors to a citywide gathering where everyone shares, tastes, and experiences these creations. A festival passport guides visitors through Vireto’s workshops, markets, and stories, with each stamp marking their place in the city’s evolving narrative.
This project was an expansion from Ranitello’s day‑old sourdough bread becoming the base for a citywide celebration of transformation. My objective was to build a cohesive world where every element, from the Challenge Band to the Festival Band to the passport, reinforces the theme of giving something a second life. I wanted the festival to feel like a natural expansion of the bakery’s identity, turning leftover bread into a catalyst for creativity, community, and shared experience.
