Story/ Concept
FILO grew from a shared habit of saving what others might discard. Fiona kept her remnants; Lo transformed them. Scraps, slivers, and odd‑shaped pieces became the start of something new. Named for their initials, FILO carries forward a simple belief: fabric has many lives, and thoughtful making keeps them going.
Objective/ Personal Goals
For this project, we were given full creative freedom with the only requirement being to develop seven items.
As someone who sews and pays close attention to textile waste, I wanted to explore how leftover fabric could be reused with intention. FILO grew from that curiosity — a brand centered on giving remnants a second life and designing tools that support sustainable making.
